Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy sets out the general information on the collection, process, use, share and/ or disclosure of customer Personal Data by MITSUBOSHI BELTING VIETNAM CO., LTD. its employees of company, group companies and/or affiliates (collectively "MBV", "we", "our" and/or "us"). MBV will collect, process, use, share, and/or disclose customer Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any applicable laws. By accessing and using MBV's website, customers consent to MBV collecting, processing, using, sharing, and/ or disclosing customer Personal Data for the purposes outlined in Clause 2 and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.
All customer Personal Data provided to MBV must be complete, accurate, and true at the same time that the information is provided. Customers have the right to access the website by MBV to view and edit their Personal Data if there is any change in information. Failure by the customers to update information promptly may result in our inability to provide the customer products and services of MBV that the customers used to request.
MBV reserves the right to amend, change, or modify this Privacy Policy from the time to the moment, if this change will alter the operation and purpose of processing customer Personal Data, MBV will send a notice to customer in a format that can be printed, copied in writing, including in electronic form or verifiable formated. Any amendments, changes, or modifications will be posted on MBV's website at the time of the moment.
1. Personal Data
"Personal data" refers to electronic information in the form of symbols, letters, numbers, images, sounds, or equivalences associated with an individual or used to identify an individual (According to clause 1 Article 2 of Decree No. 13/2023/NĐ-CP on protection of personal data).
The personal data includes general Surname, middle name, and given name, other names (if any); Date of birth; Gender; Place of birth, permanent residence, temporary residence, current residence, hometown, contact address; Nationality; Personal image; Phone number, ID card number, personal identification number, personal tax code number; Marital status; Information about family relationships (parents, children); Information about personal digital accounts; personal data reflecting activities and history of activities in cyberspace.
Personal Data excludes "business contact information" which means an individual's name, position name or title, business telephone number, business address, business electronic mail address or business fax number, and any other similar information about the individual, not provided by the individual solely for their purposes.
2. Collection, Procession, Use, Share, and/or Disclosure of Personal Data
MBV may collect, process, use, share, and/ or disclose the customer's Personal Data that we collect from you for any of the following purposes:
(a) To carry out MBV's obligations arising from any contracts entered into between the customer and us;
(b) To handle product and service requests and enquiries provided by MBV (including payments for products and services by way of cheque, credit card payment, or any other method);
(c) To administer and update customer records on our databases, monitoring and maintaining a copy of the customer records of previous transactions;
(d) To facilitate the delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of MBV's services, programs, and events;
(e) To plan, monitor, and/ or enhance the provision of new services, projects, programs, and events;
(f) To improve MBV's customer service through customer feedback;
(g) To process customer enquiries and any other ancillary administrative purposes;
(h) To send regular newsletters;
(i) For communications, marketing, and publicity purposes;
(j) For government, audit, and other regulatory purposes;

If customers choose to reject cookies, customers may still use our website, although their access to some features and areas of our website may be restricted. Customers can also set or modify their web browser controls to accept or reject cookies.
4. Disclosing and Transferring Personal Data
MBV implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of the customer's Personal Data that has been provided. Although every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that all Personal Data will be so protected, MBV is not responsible for any unauthorized use or misuse of such Personal Data and risks which are inherent in all internet communications.
MBV may disclose customer Personal Data to any member of our group or third-party agents or service providers to assist us in the use of customer Personal Data within or outside Viet Nam for the purposes outlined in Clause 2 above, for any business and/or legal purpose.
5. Retention of Personal Data
The customer's Personal Data will be stored on our server. For customer Personal Data information, our website will only delete this data if we receive a request from the customer. Customer requests are made by sending an email to us.
MBV will cease to retain Personal Data, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purposes for collection, use, and/ or disclosure of such Personal Data as originally notified to the customer are no longer being served by such retention, and such retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
6. Links to Third Party Websites
Our websites may contain links to other external websites, such as our business partners. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these third-parties. We strongly encourage you to check the privacy policy of each website that you visit. Some of these third-party websites may have our logo or trademark acknowledged on their website.
